Chocolate Apple Mummies

INGREDIENTS:

2 large Apples

2 cups of 70% Chocolate Chips or Chocolate (400g), plus about 20 more Dark Chocolate Chips

1 cup White Chocolate Chips or White Chocolate (200g)

 

METHOD:

1. Wash the apples and dry them carefully to ensure the chocolate can stick, then cut them into thick slices.

2. Break up the chocolate and melt it in the microwave.

3. Make a small slit in the bottom of each apple slice and push the lollipop stick into it.        

5. Dip the apple slices into the melted chocolate - you might need to use a spoon to help make sure they are fully covered.

6. Pop the apple slices onto the baking tray and put it into the fridge for about 20 minutes.

7. Break up the white chocolate and melt it in the microwave.

8. Take the apple slices out of the fridge and drizzle the white chocolate back and forth across them with the spoon until they look like mummy bandages!

9. Carefully drip two small circles for eyes and top them with Dark Chocolate Chips.
