Daniel Lambert's Beef & Smoked Bacon Burgers with Whiskey BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
For the burger:
500g Beef Mince
150g smoked bacon lardons
2 eggs
100g Breadcrumbs
1 tbls American Mustard
1 tbls tomato ketchup
2 tsp Minced garlic
2 tsp Chopped Thyme
1 shallot finely chopped
For the bbq sauce:
1 tbls ketchup
1/2 tbls sweet chilli sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 shot whiskey
Black pepper to season
Method:
1. Mix all ingredients for the burger together in a large mixing bowl and season.
2. Mould burgers into desired size and shape.
3. Cook in a bbq, both sides turning every 2/3 mins until burger is fully cooked. (12 - 15 mins approx)
4. Add your desired toppings
5. For the bbq sauce, mix all ingredients Together named above and season.
6. Enjoy!
